Cllr Stella Mellor¹⁾²⁾³⁾ Drunkenly fell out of DeBees the Labour Party during the last council, and woke up the next day as an independent councillor.

Subsequently, Cllr Mellor joined Winsford Salt of the Earth, only to find that some of WSotE aren't really very nice at all.

This led to a rapid exit, along with cllr Lorraine Murphy, and return to being an unaligned independent councillor⁴⁾.

Cllr Stella Mellor and Cllr Lorraine Murphy were responsible for the success of the recent (first!) Winsford Pride event⁵⁾, however this was after leaving WSotE due to the bullying from County Counciller Mandy Clare and bizarre dress code requirements that other WSotE members championed.

Cllr Mellor supports⁶⁾ the White Ribbon campaign (against domestic violence).
